Kids' Ten Commandments
The
five-part animation series Kids’ Ten Commandments
continues
to win awards for its music, art, stories and as all
around good family fare. George Taweel and Rob Loos
are founders of TLC Entertainment and the creative
force behind the Kids 10C musical dramas produced in
association with SMEC Media and RichCrest Animation,
and available in video and DVD formats.
Rob and George hired me to script their story about murder and honoring parents, Episode 3: A Life and Seth Situation, Seth being the main kid in the series, and murder in this episode being offstage because... well, why give children nightmares?
A board of Jewish and Christian scholars made sure that the content of the series is theologically non-threatening. That left plenty of room for entertainment as realized in lyrics by Pamela Phillips Oland and music by James Covell, with a large cast of celebrity voices, like Peter Strauss, Paul Winfield, Lou Diamond Phillips, John Schneider and Tom Bosley.
Episodes may be bought individually or as a gift set that can delight youngsters for hours and instruct for a lifetime. So, if you're wondering what to give that ankle biter in your life for a birthday, a holiday or a special occasion check out the producers’ web site for Kids' Ten Commandments.
There you can preview downloads and link to the distributor, Tyndale House Publishing, where you can find buying information. For direct orders phone (800)323-9400.
